Marina Cacace attended the international conference Structural Change for Gender Equality in Research and Innovation: Contextual Factors, which took place on 19 May 2017 in Prague.

Marina Cacace has carried out several research projects in Italy and Europe on the different forms of women’s occupational segregation, women’s leadership, the reconciliation of professional and family life, women in science and in the medical professions.

She directed the ASDO team for the FP7 PRAGES and STAGES projects on gender equality programmes in scientific institutions, and currently coordinates the team of ASDO for the H2020 LIBRA project (Unifying innovative efforts of European research centres to achieve gender equality in academia).

She also studied the dynamics of young women’s identification and involvement with feminism and the women’s movement.
